Job Description:

The research team member’s primary responsibilities are to research, on a global level, new wireless operators, spectrum license holders, in use wireless technologies, and wireless coverage. The Telecom Research Specialist updates Mosaik’s databases and performs data validation audits ensuring correct and timely data. There is a high accountability of data accuracy and completeness while meeting company deadlines.

Primary Duties

  • Research and maintain current data on all operator mergers, acquisitions, changes in affiliation, changes in coverage areas and network deployments
  • Correlate and analyze data both internally and externally
  • Compile data into comprehensive summary reports
  • Aggregate information from various sources to deliver a monthly newsletter detailing international and domestic coverage updates and operator news
  • Process operator provided technical information
  • Evaluate and make appropriate changes in databases to integrate changes in licenses and spectrum holdings as reported by the FCC
  • Identify and recommend opportunities outside of traditional ways to research data
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
  • Attend Informational Webinars and provide summary reports to Executive Staff members
  • Provide one hour response time on all domestic and international research requests from external and internal inquiries
  • Perform regularly scheduled and ad-hoc audits to databases to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong quantitative, research, and data analytic skills
  • Strong MS Office skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to maintain a balance of productivity, qualities and timeliness of job duties
  • Ability to manage multiple databases
  • Ability to execute multiple complex projects against tight deadlines

2 year associate degree or 3 years relevant work experience.
